Overview
Analyze real-world healthcare data and deliver data and analytics capabilities for Research and Development functions. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on RWD studies, platforms, reporting, and operations.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with researchers, clinicians, market access, and regulatory stakeholders to define RWD needs.
- Identify relevant data from EHRs, claims databases, registries, and other healthcare sources.
- Clean, transform, and preprocess RWD for analysis and downstream use.
- Analyze RWD to generate insights for research questions and business objectives.
- Conduct observational, comparative effectiveness, and patient outcomes research.
- Communicate findings through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
- Train, guide, and mentor junior team members and business stakeholders.
What you'll need
- Typically 5+ years of experience in RWD, platforms, and analysis within biopharma or healthcare.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, health informatics, or a related field.
- Experience with Python, R or SAS, Domino, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of healthcare RWD sources and data pipelines.
- Proficiency in data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for RWD use.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
Nice to have
- Ability to learn and implement new tools and AI use cases.
- Familiarity with RWD methodologies and study designs.
