Refuel Floor Outage Execution Specialist

Overview

Lead outage execution specialist supporting nuclear plant refueling outages, reactor maintenance, fuel movement, and related off-season projects. The role also supports technical training and cross-functional product line activities.

What you'll do

• Support 4–6 refueling outages annually at domestic and international customer plants.
• Perform maintenance and inspections in the relevant technical discipline.
• Supervise field activities when required.
• Instruct GVH technical training courses for new technicians.
• Support spent fuel pool cleanup and dry cask storage projects.
• Provide expertise on reactor maintenance, in-vessel tooling, and OEM equipment.
• Drive procedural compliance and high-quality project deliverables.

What you'll need

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of technical experience in GE Hitachi Nuclear Field Services core functions.
• GVH Fuel Moving Certification.
• GVH Reactor Maintenance / Vessel Technician qualification.
• Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
• Ability to work in radiation-controlled and radioactively contaminated areas.
• Ability to work 12-hour days, seven days per week during field projects.

Nice to have

• RST Level II Certification.
• Experience with BWR reactor internals and modifications.
• Technical troubleshooting experience with GVH tooling.
• Experience instructing GEH technical training courses.
• Leadership and strong communication skills.

• U.S. pay range: $78,800–$131,200 yearly.
