Zone Installation Specialist - Medical Imaging (Travel: Midwest Zone)

Overview

Field role installing and supporting medical imaging equipment for customers in the Midwest Zone, with a focus on customer service and technical problem solving.

What you'll do

• Learn the installation process and establish rapport with customers while demonstrating a sense of urgency to identify and resolve customer issues.
• Become qualified in and perform work in at least one modality; may be asked to become qualified in multiple modalities.
• Maintain knowledge of technical advances and current industry trends.
• Seek out formal and informal training opportunities.
• Adopt best practices, schedule own activities, and make yourself available to assist others.
• Complete administrative duties within established Philips and regulatory timeframes, including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventative maintenance, installation documents, and site and service documentation.

What you'll need

• 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging (field or hospital-based) service environment, or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment.
• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials and wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work in an office/home office and/or remote setting, as well as in a hospital/healthcare environment.
• Ability to travel up to 100% via car, air, train, or bus, which may include weekend stays and occasional international travel (overnight stays over multiple weeks may be required).
• Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment.
• BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET degree.

Details

• Location: Midwest Zone (IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD and WI); must reside in or within commuting distance to this zone.
• Field role, generally at customer or supplier locations.
• Hourly pay range of $26.00 to $41.00, plus overtime eligible; may include annual incentive bonus plans, on-call pay, and company fleet/car.
• US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship will not be provided.
• Company relocation benefits will not be provided.
