Requirement Engineer, AVP

Overview

Requirement Engineer (AVP) supporting the Private Bank Germany lending department, covering mortgage, consumer loans, and collections/recovery solutions. The role bridges business needs with technical delivery across the software delivery lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and optimize end-to-end application workflows to meet operational needs.
• Translate business logic into configuration rules and system parameters.
• Write and debug complex SQL for data validation, querying, and data mapping support.
• Create process flows/workflows using Microsoft Visio or Draw.io.
• Design and interpret ERDs to document data structures and relationships for data mapping.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and requirements analysis aligned to team quality standards.
• Participate in L3 production support activities and support QAT, SIT, UAT, and PROD.

What you'll need

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries (joins, unions) and stored procedures.
• Experience as a SQL Developer with clean, optimized, and well-documented queries.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and refine functional requirements with stakeholders/product owners.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visio or Draw.io (or equivalent diagramming tools).
• Understanding of data mapping between source and target systems with maintained diagrams/documentation.
• Experience across analysis areas including business process modeling, use cases/user story writing, and data modeling using UML standards.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and participation across project lifecycle from initiation to delivery.
