Research Analyst (Indian Equities)

Overview

Research Analyst focused on Indian equities, translating Indian corporate and macro developments into tradable insights and supporting trading strategies.

What you'll do

• Monitor Indian corporate and macro news, sentiment, and material catalysts and convert them into tradable actions.
• Produce daily reports and commentary on themes relevant to trading strategies.
• Maintain expertise on Indian market structure, companies, economy, and politics.
• Collaborate with traders on strategies across market-making and position taking.
• Assess the impact of corporate actions and upcoming events on pricing.
• Communicate with other IMC analysts across EU, US, and Asia on trading research and strategies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Economics/Finance/Business OR STEM from a top university.
• CFA is stated as a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in Indian equities.
• Team handling experience is preferred.
• Experience with Excel and Bloomberg is necessary.
• Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Indian macro and Indian X-asset exposure.
• Exposure to Python and options knowledge including understanding of the Greeks.
