Overview

Research Engineer (Portfolio Management Group, Associate) working with Risk & Quantitative Analysis and PMG Tech to build data workflows, analytics solutions, and AI-assisted capabilities for risk management and decision-making.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain web harvesting and data pipelines for research hypotheses and analyses.
• Develop platform capabilities to source high-quality data and create scalable data solutions.
• Create research utilities, prototypes, dashboards, or exploratory tools for insight generation.
• Partner with investors and researchers to understand workflows and translate requirements into data solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt data extraction and management tools.
• Work with AI leads to source data and build AI applications for AI-assisted research.

What you'll need

• 3+ years hands-on experience in Data Engineering/Analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Strong programming skills in SQL.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge/curiosity about investment research workflows or similar domains.
• Prior experience in data engineering, data analytics, or data-intensive applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering and business teams.
• B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Data Science/Engineering, or related field.

• Hybrid work model with at least 4 days in the office per week and 1 day work from home.
