Revenue Cycle Analyst Underpayments

Overview

Review hospital accounts for potential underpayments, validate expected reimbursement, identify root causes, and support payer resolution efforts.

What you'll do

• Research accounts in patient accounting systems, payer portals, websites, and proprietary software.
• Review opportunities and evaluate expected reimbursement calculations.
• Determine whether to pursue opportunities with payers and identify required actions.
• Document account details to support appeals and resolution.
• Diagnose how underpayments occurred and identify prevention opportunities.
• Meet production, accuracy, and efficiency benchmarks.

What you'll need

• bachelor's degree or a high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in hospital billing, resolution, revenue cycle, or data analytics.
• Strong critical thinking, organization, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math skills, including complex equations.
• Proficiency with computers and technology.

• Remote role in the USA.
• Multiple one-week, company-paid onsite training sessions at an R1 office.
• Base pay: $46,664.00–$72,250.29 per year.
• Annual bonus plan target: 5%.
