RF Applications Engineer, Sr/ Sr Lead

Overview

Work as an RF customer engineer, collaborating with customers, product teams, and RF ecosystem partners to enable successful deployment of wireless products.

What you'll do

• Analyze customer designs from front end block diagram and RFFE to PCB layout.
• Resolve RF performance issues.
• Provide technical guidance on RF front end and transceiver implementations.
• Drive root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with RFIC, RF Systems, software, and hardware design teams.
• Manage customer-facing technical engagements in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll need

• Strong fundamentals in RF/wireless communication.
• Hands-on debug experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience, or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience, or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• RF design and debugging.
• LTE/5G technologies.
• Transceivers.
• CAD tools expertise like Allegro and Mentor Expedition.
• Simulation tools expertise like ADS and HFSS.
• Experience using call boxes, VNA, and other RF characterization equipments.
