Safeguards Enforcement Analyst, Account Takeover & Credential Abuse

Overview

Safeguards Enforcement Analyst (Account Takeover & Credential Abuse) for the account abuse team, building enforcement workflows to detect and mitigate account compromise and related credential abuse.

What you'll do

• Investigate credential-compromise incidents across first-party and third-party platforms.
• Trace actor behavior across accounts and relevant data surfaces.
• Design and operate remediation workflows, including revocation and customer notification.
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science to separate compromised-customer traffic from willful abuse.
• Enforce usage policies to detect and mitigate potentially harmful AI system use.
• Support policy design feedback using real enforcement scenarios.
• Write policy framework for compromise scenarios, including cases with limited verification.

What you'll need

• Experience in trust and safety, fraud investigation, security operations, or a related field.
• Subject matter expertise in account takeover, credential abuse, session security, or incident response.
• Experience designing or operating enforcement, remediation, or customer-recovery flows.
• Comfort using data (SQL or similar) to trace actor behavior across accounts and measure effectiveness.
• Strong written communication skills producing clear briefs about messy incidents.
• Excellent judgment and ability to collaborate while priorities evolve.

Details

• Annual compensation range: $245,000–$285,000 USD.
• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• Logistics: hybrid expectation with staff in offices at least 25% of the time.
• Visa sponsorship is supported in some cases.
