Overview
Safeguards Enforcement Analyst (Account Takeover & Credential Abuse) for the account abuse team, building enforcement workflows to detect and mitigate account compromise and related credential abuse.
What you'll do
- Investigate credential-compromise incidents across first-party and third-party platforms.
- Trace actor behavior across accounts and relevant data surfaces.
- Design and operate remediation workflows, including revocation and customer notification.
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science to separate compromised-customer traffic from willful abuse.
- Enforce usage policies to detect and mitigate potentially harmful AI system use.
- Support policy design feedback using real enforcement scenarios.
- Write policy framework for compromise scenarios, including cases with limited verification.
What you'll need
- Experience in trust and safety, fraud investigation, security operations, or a related field.
- Subject matter expertise in account takeover, credential abuse, session security, or incident response.
- Experience designing or operating enforcement, remediation, or customer-recovery flows.
- Comfort using data (SQL or similar) to trace actor behavior across accounts and measure effectiveness.
- Strong written communication skills producing clear briefs about messy incidents.
- Excellent judgment and ability to collaborate while priorities evolve.
Details
- Annual compensation range: $245,000–$285,000 USD.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- Logistics: hybrid expectation with staff in offices at least 25% of the time.
- Visa sponsorship is supported in some cases.
