Overview

Enterprise Sales Engineer partnering with the Enterprise Sales team to win customers by applying technical expertise to IT and network engineers, and to help build the Sales Engineering team's assets, standards and process.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery calls to understand what customers find painful or frustrating about their current legacy solutions.
• Deliver world-class demonstrations that inspire and build buy-in across multiple stakeholders, from office managers to CIOs.
• Build solutions, remove obstacles, and close deals through work with customers and partners.
• Partner directly with Account Executives on your team to create urgency and drive deals forward.
• Design and build new assets covering common Enterprise use cases (e.g., EVPN-VXLAN reference architectures or 802.1X integration guides).
• Standardize documentation and training for core networking areas.
• Collect customer feedback from complex deployments and translate their requirements to the Product team to influence the hardware and software roadmap.

What you'll need

• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, 802.11ax/be, TLS, DHCP, DNS, NAT, 802.1X, VPNs, SD-WAN, IDS/IPS, Multicast, OSPF, BGP and EVPN-VXLAN.
• Experience as a high performing Sales Engineer at high growth companies.
• Obsession with networking and a competitive drive to win deals.

Nice to have

• Completed several standard industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, CWDE, JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIE, Network+ or Security+.

Details

• Location: New York.
• Estimated base salary range: $140,000 - $190,000.
• Eligible to earn commissions and to participate in Meter's equity plan.
