Sales Representative

Overview

Drive revenue growth across a defined territory by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and providing consultative product solutions.

What you'll do

• Manage a territory and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and gross profits.
• Prospect for new customers and manage the sales pipeline.
• Develop and deliver customer proposals.
• Expand existing accounts through retention strategies and consultative selling.
• Build customer relationships and support satisfaction and loyalty.
• Maintain CRM records and monitor sales activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturer representatives on solutions, pricing, and product knowledge.

What you'll need

• 1–3+ years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent, or applicable experience preferred.
• Business-to-business sales experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage time and territory.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing required.

Nice to have

• Distribution sales experience.
• Scientific, laboratory, or research experience.
• Experience with Salesforce or Qlikview.

Details

• Remote role in British Columbia, Canada; should be located in the Greater Vancouver Area.
• Travel to customer locations at least 5 days per week.
• Expected travel is 50–75%, including overnights.
• Travel to the United States is required for annual sales conferences and occasional training.
• Base salary is $61,500–$101,430 USD yearly, with incentive compensation.
