Sales Specialist

Overview

Sales Specialist responsible for selling products, systems, and services in ABB’s Motion business area in Costa Rica. The role focuses on meeting sales targets, developing opportunities, and supporting customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Sell products, systems, and services within the designated market.
• Achieve qualitative and quantitative sales targets.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
• Communicate delivery times, payment terms, and related conditions to customers.
• Conduct marketing activities and communicate the value proposition.
• Manage sales administration and support cash collection and project management.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of experience in a sales department.
• Experience with electric motors and variable speed drives.
• Knowledge of the market and Motion products portfolio.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Industrial, Commercial, or a similar engineering field.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Strong communication, proactive, self-directed, and collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CRM, Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Office.

• Work model: Hybrid.
• Travel: 80% within the country and 20% outside the country.
