Sales Specialist Branded Retail, Mumbai

Overview

Sales Specialist for Signify's branded retail channels in Mumbai, responsible for sales execution, customer engagement and in-market activation under the guidance of a Sales Manager.

What you'll do

• Deliver assigned financial targets and execute channel and customer sales plans within the assigned territory or accounts, achieving revenue, volume and distribution targets.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with distributors, retailers and store personnel to ensure product presence, planogram compliance and promotions implementation.
• Establish customer intimacy and nurture relationships with key customer contacts through frequent and productive sales visits.
• Support customers with queries and ensure prompt response to their needs and issues.
• During customer visits, ensure stock availability, collect orders, manage product range and mix, and handle sell-in, in-store activity and demand creation activity.
• Monitor in-store visibility, pricing and merchandising compliance, and report on competitor activities and market trends.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers and cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Trade Marketing, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure product availability and smooth execution.
• Support trade marketing programs, promotions and product launches to drive sell-out growth.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Signify's product portfolio, lighting technologies and value propositions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience in consumer goods, electrical trade or FMCG.
• Proven success in achieving sales targets and managing distributor/retailer relationships.
• Experience in successful implementation of promotions and delivering outcomes.
• Must have managed merchandisers and daily implementation of the merchandising calendar.
• Sales and trade marketing trainings or certifications.
