Overview
Glean is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and continuously improve its Salesforce platform and ecosystem of integrations, partnering with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to support the full quote-to-cash and go-to-market lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Drive the technical implementation of Salesforce enhancements, from technical design and development through testing, deployment support, documentation, and post-release issue resolution.
- Design and develop scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, validation rules, asynchronous processing, and platform automation.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware, and integration patterns appropriate to the use case.
- Contribute to the evolution of Salesforce as the system of record for opportunity, quote, order, customer, and other go-to-market data.
- Support quote-to-cash capabilities, including Revenue Cloud or CPQ-related processes, product and pricing workflows, order management, approvals, and downstream fulfillment integrations.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical designs, data models, user experiences, and implementation plans.
- Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, test coverage, security, performance, observability, and long-term maintainability.
- Follow and contribute to deployment and release practices across environments, including source control, CI/CD, code reviews, release planning, and rollback readiness.
- Investigate production issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes that prevent recurrence.
- Partner with administrators, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to balance speed, usability, technical debt, and platform governance.
- Contribute to Salesforce architecture, integration standards, documentation, and operating procedures as the platform and team grow.
- Collaborate with administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions and continuously improve the platform.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including ownership of complex implementations in a fast-growing or enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL/SOSL, asynchronous Apex, and Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, authentication patterns, middleware, platform events, or comparable event-driven approaches.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, sharing and security, governor limits, bulkification, performance optimization, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience with Sales Cloud and at least one of Revenue Cloud, CPQ, order management, billing, or other quote-to-cash capabilities.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps practices, source-driven development, Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and structured release management.
- Demonstrated ability to convert ambiguous business problems into practical, scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple functions.
- A track record of taking ownership, exercising sound judgment, and delivering reliable solutions in a changing environment.
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and independently driving technical delivery.
