Overview
The Salesforce Engineering team within Expedia Group’s Salesforce Center of Excellence is seeking a Salesforce System Administrator to design, build, administer, and improve Salesforce solutions for internal and partner-facing teams.
What you'll do
- Build customised solutions in Salesforce.com and associated systems that support business requirements and processes.
- Work with groups to understand their business processes and requirements.
- Translate business requirements into logical, component-based technical designs.
- Define technical solutions to support business work processes.
- Create design and technical specification documentation.
- Drive resolution of all issues that come up during the development phase.
- Clearly communicate project status to key partners throughout the entire development process.
- Manage day-to-day administration of the Salesforce platform.
- Configure custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, and approval processes.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for business users.
- Maintain user roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Work autonomously with minimal guidance.
- Use GitHub and support deployment activities across environments.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes using Salesforce capabilities.
- Partner closely with various business teams to create and build functional operational support through the Salesforce application.
- Lead multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, take responsibility for work end to end, prioritise workload effectively, and work within time constraints to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time frames.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of experience with a bachelor’s/master’s degree, or equivalent related professional experience.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator.
- Experience with GitHub and supporting deployment activities across environments.
- 2-5 years of System Administrator experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM tool.
- 2-5 years of experience with consistent productivity and proven success as a project coordinator.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
- Solid sense of customer focus and the importance of the voice of the customer.
- Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate well within a team.
