SAP Authorization and Security Specialist

Overview

SAP Authorization and Security Specialist supporting SAP S/4HANA conversion and rollout from a security perspective, including authorization design, remediation, and governance.

What you'll do

• Support SAP S/4HANA system conversion and upgrade activities with security impact assessment and authorization optimization.
• Analyze and redesign SAP ECC roles and authorizations to align with S/4HANA authorization concepts.
• Design and adapt roles for new company codes, plants, sales organizations, and geographic regions while maintaining global security standards.
• Maintain and enhance PFCG-based roles (single, derived, composite) and keep role menus aligned with requirements.
• Review and update SU24 authorization defaults, authorization objects, and role menus for S/4HANA conversion and rollout.
• Implement and support SAP Fiori security and configure catalogs, spaces/pages, business roles, and OData authorization.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of experience.
• Experience supporting Segregation of Duties analysis and remediation using SAP GRC Access Control.
• Ability to configure and support SAP GRC modules including ARA, ARM, and EAM.
• Knowledge of configuring SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) for authentication, federation, and SSO.
• Knowledge of configuring SAP Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) for automated user and role provisioning.
• Educational qualification: BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT), MCA, MBA (IT), or MSc (IT).
