Principal Engineer – Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)

Overview

Principal Engineer for Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), serving as the technical authority to define and evolve enterprise identity governance capabilities.

What you'll do

• Own IGA architecture and end-to-end technical governance capabilities.
• Define and evolve identity lifecycle management, access workflows, and policy models.
• Design and implement scalable Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) workflows integrated with HR, directories/IAM, cloud, and applications.
• Build and optimize RBAC, ABAC, and policy-based access models and access certifications.
• Define governance for non-human, AI, machine, RPA, and service account identities.
• Evaluate, select, and implement enterprise IGA platforms and engineer required integrations.
• Embed least privilege and continuous governance to enable Zero Trust and reduce risk.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management with deep specialization in IGA.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with SailPoint (IdentityIQ/IdentityNow), Saviynt, or comparable IGA platforms.
• Strong understanding of JML and access governance/certification models.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and policy-driven access control.
• Strong understanding of segregation of duties (SoD) design and enforcement.
• Experience integrating IGA platforms with HR systems, directories/IAM, cloud, and SaaS applications.
• Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment for global enterprise scaling.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting global enterprises with complex identity ecosystems.
• Background in security architecture, platform engineering, or large-scale SaaS systems.
• Familiarity with privileged access governance and non-human identity risk.
• Experience partnering with GRC, audit, and compliance teams.
