SAP Basis Administrator

Overview

Senior SAP Basis professional responsible for SAP technical administration, production support, SAP HANA administration, performance tuning, system upgrades, migrations, system refreshes, transport management, security, monitoring, high availability and disaster recovery.

What you'll do

• Provide technical ownership of SAP Basis environments.
• Support production environments and coordinate major incidents.
• Plan upgrades, migrations and disaster recovery.
• Coordinate with vendor, infrastructure, application and functional teams.
• Mentor technical teams and share knowledge.
• Assess technical risks and support change and problem management.
• Plan go-lives and cutovers.
• Create technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate with stakeholders.
• Support audits and compliance.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in SAP technical administration, production support, SAP HANA administration, performance tuning, system upgrades, migrations, system refreshes, transport management, security, monitoring, high availability and disaster recovery.
• Experience in complex SAP landscapes and cross-functional coordination with application, infrastructure, security, cloud and managed-service teams.
• Core SAP Basis skills.
• SAP HANA database administration skills.
• Transport management skills.
• Performance and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with upgrades, patching and maintenance.
• Experience with system refresh and system copy.
• SAP security basics and SSO knowledge.
• High availability and disaster recovery knowledge.
• Monitoring and production operations experience.
• SAP platform experience.
• Cloud and RISE with SAP experience.
• Working exposure to SAP BTP administration.
• Working exposure to Cloud Connector, identity, security and connectivity.
• Working exposure to SAP Integration Suite.
• S/4HANA and transformation exposure.
