SAP Basis Architect

Overview

SAP Basis Architect (Basis Capability Lead) responsible for overseeing SAP Basis operations, maintenance, continuous improvement, and project-related activities across the SAP environment.

What you'll do

• Oversee SAP Basis operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage Basis workstreams across operations, maintenance, and process/performance improvements and projects.
• Plan and balance provider and resource workload priorities for delivery.
• Manage governance for SAP system changes, updates, and implementations, including approvals and reviews.
• Coordinate update reviews and communicate major system updates to Main Capability Leads.
• Track provider status and ensure provider performance aligns with agreed metrics.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, operations, and support.
• Experience managing third-party providers or outsourced service teams.
• Knowledge of SAP system changes, implementations, patching, and operational governance.
• Experience with resource planning, workload balancing, and service delivery management.
• Familiarity with performance metrics, SLA/KPI tracking, and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
