SAP BI/BOBJ Administration

Overview

Administer and support SAP BusinessObjects and SAP BW environments, with responsibility for production monitoring, troubleshooting, security, upgrades, and operational improvements.

What you'll do

• Administer and maintain SAP BusinessObjects and SAP BW environments.
• Manage users, roles, groups, and security authorizations.
• Monitor system performance, server health, scheduled jobs, and availability.
• Troubleshoot BI platform issues with SAP Basis, DBA, and Infrastructure teams.
• Perform upgrades, patches, migrations, and refresh activities.
• Resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.
• Create operational documentation and participate in disaster recovery testing.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of SAP BI/BOBJ Administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects 4.x Administration, including CMC, SIA, and Auditing.
• Experience with user provisioning, security, and access management.
• Knowledge of SAP BW architecture and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with Linux or Windows server environments.
• Understanding of Oracle, SQL Server, or HANA database administration concepts.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.

Nice to have

• SAP HANA Administration exposure.
• SAP Analytics Cloud knowledge.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Shell, PowerShell, or Python scripting knowledge.
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
