SAP-MDG-Senior Associate

Overview

Support SAP data migration and data management work across SAP environments, helping clients move, clean, validate, and activate data for business applications, within PwC Acceleration Center India's Technology Consulting practice.

What you'll do

• Analyze client data migration requirements and legacy data structures to shape SAP MDG solutions
• Design data migration approaches, including transformation routines, for SAP ECC to S/4HANA programs
• Build, test, and execute migration loads using SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, and LTMOM enhancements
• Perform source data profiling and validation checks to identify data quality issues and target system fit
• Prepare technical specification documents for data migration jobs and related load activities
• Support data cleansing, dropout resolution, and validation through SIT, UAT, and cutover phases
• Conduct migration dress rehearsals, cutover tasks, and post go-live support activities
• Apply SAP BODS, Information Steward, Excel, SQL, IDOCs, BAPIs, and SnapLogic within migration and integration workstreams
• Advise clients on data management strategies and techniques for SAP-enabled transformation programs
• Manage assigned workstreams, mentor junior team members, and build client relationships

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• At least one of the following: one or more SAP certifications in SAP Data and Analytics solutions, including SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP Business Warehouse (BW/4HANA), SAP Data Intelligence, or related data platform credentials
• Demonstrated data migration delivery across SAP ECC and S/4 environments
• Building migration routines using SAP Data Services, LSMW, or Migration Cockpit
• Analyzing legacy data structures and validating preload and postload results
• Creating technical specifications for data services jobs and cutover tasks
• Supporting data cleansing, profiling, and dropout resolution using SQL and Information Steward
