SAP S4 Accounts Payment Technology Specialist

Overview

Supports daily vendor payment processing, monitoring, issue analysis, testing, and improvement across SAP S/4HANA and related accounts payable systems.

What you'll do

• Support payment proposals, payment runs, and vendor clearing in SAP S/4HANA.
• Monitor payment exceptions and bank rejections and document initial findings.
• Assist with ACH, wire, check, and electronic payment processing.
• Execute test scripts and validate payment scenarios, bank files, interfaces, and system changes.
• Support master data checks, cutover readiness, data validation, and hypercare activities.
• Maintain procedures, issue records, test evidence, status updates, and performance metrics.
• Suggest opportunities for payment standardization, automation, and improved controls.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, payment operations, finance systems, ERP support, or a related internship or co-op assignment.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable, SAP Fiori, or Automatic Payment Program F110.
• Familiarity with ACH, wire transfers, checks, electronic payments, bank files, or payment exceptions.
• Exposure to OpenText VIM, Ariba, bank integrations, DMEE or XML payment formats, testing, or ticket-based support.
• Basic understanding of internal controls, data accuracy, audit documentation, and SOX-compliant processes.
