SAP Test Automation Engineer

Overview

As an SAP Test Automation Engineer, you will build and run SAP test automation using Tricentis tools and help improve testing efficiency, quality, and reliability.

What you'll do

• Lead development, maintenance, and execution of SAP test automation scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Implement automated testing for SAP applications, including regression, unit, smoke, and end-to-end validation.
• Define automation approaches, test coverage, execution strategies, and defect analysis methods.
• Run hands-free and lights-out automated tests using Tricentis DEX (scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting).
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams and stakeholders to support test data needs and resolve defects.

What you'll need

• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, business systems, or a related discipline.
• Have 2-5 years of experience in SAP testing, test automation, software quality assurance, or enterprise application testing.
• Experience developing and executing automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca (or similar tools) for SAP/enterprise apps.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to analyze requirements, document test scenarios, and execute test plans.

Nice to have

• 2-5 years of experience with Tricentis Tosca and Tricentis DEX, including codeless automation and unattended testing.
• Experience with qTest, Jira, test data management, defect tracking/reporting, and SAP functional areas such as SD, MM, OTC, and MTD.
