SCM Engineer - IT procurement

Overview

SCM Engineer - IT procurement role within the Supply Chain Management team, responsible for continuous verification and analysis of prequalified vendors globally and keeping the vendor list updated.

What you'll do

• Initiate the vendor onboarding process in the SAP Ariba portal by submitting supplier requests.
• Verify prequalification documents provided by suppliers during onboarding.
• Run vendor risk assessment checks in SAP Ariba.
• Update and maintain the complete vendor list and ensure onboarding completion before placing PO.
• Perform periodic checks on mandatory supplier documents uploaded during onboarding.
• Launch RFQs and receive vendor offers through SAP Ariba before deadlines.

What you'll need

• Minimum Engineering Graduate or equivalent qualification.
• Experience of 5 to 10+ years in IT procurement, supply chain, vendor onboarding, and procurement.
• Experience with IT hardware, software licensing models, SaaS, and IT services.
• Exposure to ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Good knowledge of SAP Ariba.
• Fluent English and strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
