Overview

Join Fam’s Core Infrastructure team, which builds the platforms and systems powering real-time app experiences and high-volume payments. The team is building infrastructure as a frictionless platform discipline, including self-serve platform primitives and AI-native platform operations.

What you'll do

• Build platforms and systems that power Fam’s services, real-time app experiences, and high-volume payments.
• Develop self-serve contracts for internal engineering teams to consume compute, storage, and event streams.
• Lay the groundwork for AI-native platform operations.
• Develop agent plane and agent skills so agents can safely interact with and operate infrastructure primitives alongside the team.
• Use best-in-class tools from the CNCF landscape in the team’s systems.
• Contribute back to open source.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru.
• The Core Infrastructure team operates as a small, high-leverage team with deep ownership.
• Systems process 1 Billion+ API requests per day, power approximately 10M daily transactions for 10M+ users, and operate at 20,000+ RPS.
• Infrastructure includes a 470+ node Kubernetes cluster with approximately 2,500 vCPUs and approximately 8 TiB RAM.
• Infrastructure uses 195+ HPAs paired with Karpenter for dynamic, multi-dimensional auto-scaling.
• Systems contain 12+ TB of active transactional data across high-throughput database clusters.
• Event streaming includes 400+ topics and 3,800+ partitions at approximately 46,700 messages per second.
