Overview
Lead the architecture and development of scalable, secure identity and access software on cloud infrastructure. Shape technical strategy, solve complex challenges, and enable engineering teams through frameworks and platform solutions.
What you'll do
- Design and build enterprise software using Java and Spring Boot.
- Define long-term product and security architecture strategy.
- Lead large-scale architectural initiatives across multiple workstreams.
- Build and maintain reliable, performant infrastructure and product code at scale.
- Develop frameworks and solutions that improve productivity across teams.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex Java codebases.
What you'll need
- 18+ years of software development experience.
- 12+ years designing and building enterprise-grade Java software at scale.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or GraphDB.
- Experience with AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure platforms.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Understanding of IAM protocols including FIDO, WebAuthn, SSO, SAML, OAuth, SCIM, and OpenID Connect.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
- CISSP or Security+ certification.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and basic UI development.
- Experience building teams from the ground up.
