SDET Engineer(Python)

Overview

Develop and execute software verification and validation activities for an SDET Engineer role, combining automation and manual testing.

What you'll do

• Develop verification and validation strategies and plans.
• Create software test cases for requirements verification.
• Maintain and enhance the automation test framework.
• Perform exploratory, formal, and manual testing.
• Execute test plans and verify software bugs.
• Conduct non-functional testing for accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies, test planning, estimation, and QA improvements.

What you'll need

• 7–11 years of software testing experience across automation and manual testing.
• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience developing test automation frameworks and scripts using Python and Java.
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or Pytest.
• Knowledge of configuration management, version control, and bug tracking tools.
• Proficiency in SDLC, test methodologies, bug lifecycle, test case development, and risk assessment.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification.
• CSM or PSM certification.
• Experience with Linux, Qt/QML, and Squish.
• Experience with regulatory and compliance standards applied to the SDLC.

Details

• Onsite role in Gurugram, India.
• Travel requirement: 20%.
