Overview

What you'll do
- Perform routine securities operations activities and support the timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Follow established procedures, policies, and controls to complete operational tasks and address routine issues.
- Receive guidance from managers and experienced team members while developing knowledge of securities operations processes and the trade lifecycle.
- Collaborate with peers, business partners, and customers to share information, resolve routine inquiries, and support team objectives.
- Learn and build foundational knowledge of operational functions, including client account onboarding, cash payments, funding operations, custodial services, securities settlement, customer service, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Gather and review information to support issue resolution and day-to-day operational activities.
- Escalate issues, risks, or exceptions as appropriate and assist in resolving low-complexity operational concerns.
- Review time-sensitive documents and transaction requests for completeness and accuracy in accordance with established requirements.
- Support daily securities and cash-related production activities to help meet service, quality, and control standards.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, projects, and implementation activities that support operational effectiveness.
What you'll need
- 6+ months of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Nice to have
- Experience in Securities Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education.
- Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and controls while meeting quality and service standards.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately.
