Securities Operations Associate Manager

Overview

Manage a team of securities operations specialists, ensuring quality and compliance in transactional work and serving as first point of contact for delivery tasks and escalations.

What you'll do

• Manage a team of specialists in transactional tasks, ensuring quality and compliance in securities operations.
• Provide support as the first point of contact for all delivery tasks and escalations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
• Ensure the team consistently meets delivery expectations.
• Resolve issues related to reporting, career path and related activities for direct reports.
• Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals, including more experienced managers.
• Lead the team to achieve objectives.
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for securities operations.
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 1+ years of Leadership experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Operations, Data Management, Business Intelligence, or a related domain within the financial services industry.
• Proven people leadership experience managing teams of 15-20 employees for a minimum of 2 years.
• Ability to support global operations with flexibility to work in US business hours (approximately 4:30 PM IST to 2:30 AM IST).
• Strong expertise in process automation, workflow optimization, and development of solutions using automation tools.
• Hands-on experience in SharePoint site creation, administration, and process management.
• Advanced knowledge of Big Data, Data Mining, Data Analysis, and Reporting methodologies.
• Experience supporting and partnering with multiple Lines of Business (LOBs) and cross-functional teams.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience managing and collaborating with US-based stakeholders, including senior leaders and business partners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to drive business outcomes in a matrix environment.

Nice to have

• Experience leading process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence and Reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational processes across multiple business functions and geographies.
• Proven track record of driving automation, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure fair and equitable allocation of work assignments across team members to balance workload, enhance productivity, and support employee well-being.
