Security Solution Architect

Overview

Security Solution Architect responsible for technical wins in security deals through discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and consultative architecture. The role focuses on ransomware recovery, immutable and air-gapped vaulting, identity resilience, and data security posture management in a pre-sales environment.

What you'll do

• Own technical discovery, solution design, demos, and proofs of value.
• Design and defend security architectures for ransomware recovery, immutability, air-gapping, and identity resilience.
• Lead reference architecture workshops, POCs, and pilots across regulated industries.
• Create solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and account-specific business cases.
• Develop account technology-footprint knowledge and support security partner co-selling.
• Provide field feedback for product roadmap development.
• Maintain accurate technical qualification and POC exit criteria.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of security pre-sales engineering and architecture experience.
• Experience designing or deploying ransomware-recovery, immutable or air-gapped backup, or identity-resilience systems.
• Strong infrastructure experience across backup, recovery, storage, and hybrid cloud.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, ransomware kill chains, immutability, air-gapping, and zero trust.
• Python or PowerShell scripting and API proficiency for demos and POCs.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Professional English proficiency and willingness to travel as required.

Nice to have

• Specialist or overlay SE/SA experience at a data infrastructure, backup, or cybersecurity vendor.
• Technical relationships or competitive experience in backup, cyber resilience, or data security markets.

Details

• Location: California, United States.
• Remote role as stated in the ATS location line.
• Annual pay range: $270,000–$300,000 USD.
