Security Solution Architect

Overview

Lead technical pre-sales and solution architecture for Cohesity’s security portfolio, helping enterprise customers design ransomware-recovery, immutable backup, air-gapped vaulting, and identity-resilience solutions.

What you'll do

• Own discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of value for security deals.
• Design reference architectures and lead technical workshops, POCs, and pilots.
• Advise CISOs, security leaders, and architects on ransomware recovery, DSPM, and identity resilience.
• Create solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and account-specific business cases.
• Understand account technology footprints and collaborate with security partners on joint solutions.
• Provide roadmap feedback and maintain accurate technical qualification and POC exit criteria.

What you'll need

• 7+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting.
• Experience supporting enterprise sales in a specialist or overlay capacity.
• Experience designing or deploying ransomware-recovery, immutable or air-gapped backup, or identity-resilience systems.
• Infrastructure experience across backup, recovery, storage, or hybrid cloud.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and core security concepts.
• Python or PowerShell scripting and API proficiency for demos and POCs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Specialist or overlay SE/SA experience at a data infrastructure, backup, or cybersecurity vendor.
• Technical relationships or competitive experience in backup, cyber resilience, or data security.
• French, German, Mandarin, or Bahasa language capability matched to the territory.

Details

• Location: Germany.
• Remote role with regular customer travel and periodic travel to Santa Clara headquarters and company events.
• Professional English is required for customer and internal communication.
