Technical Product Lead - AI Finance App

Overview

Technical Product Lead for an AI Finance Superapp covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading in Southeast Asia.

What you'll do

• Own a product vertical end-to-end, including strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery.
• Shape technical design with engineering across APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, and failure handling.
• Drive trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory requirements, and user experience.
• Build regulatory requirements into the product across KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing.
• Apply AI improvements with evaluation, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling.
• Ship across external dependencies such as regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of product management experience with ownership from strategy through production.
• Strong technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, and distributed systems.
• Experience working closely with engineers to review and contribute to technical designs.
• Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated, high-consequence domain.
• Strong product judgment to make trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
• Experience building with LLMs or AI products, including evaluation and reliability.
• Strong English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Engineering or highly technical product background.
• Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
• Experience defining evaluation frameworks for ML or LLM-powered products.
• Location is Germany (ATS), and the role is remote with global hiring.
