Senior Accountant, Fund Accounting

Overview

Senior Accountant (Fund Accounting) responsible for high-quality fund accounting, NAV reporting, financial/investor reporting, and client service support for private equity and corporate clients.

What you'll do

• Review and oversee NAV reporting, financial statements, and investor reporting for assigned clients.
• Oversee capital call and distribution notices and other client deliverables for private equity funds and corporate clients.
• Coordinate client deadlines and manage team workloads to meet quality and timeliness standards.
• Review deliverables prepared by Accountants and Junior Accountants.
• Resolve complex accounting matters and provide technical guidance as a subject matter expert.
• Liaise with auditors and stakeholders, and support onboarding, platform migrations, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor team members, drive process improvements, and monitor workflow management activities.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS and IFRS and multiple GAAP frameworks including US GAAP and UK GAAP.
• Hands-on experience in private equity fund accounting, including NAV, financial statement preparation/review, and investor reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting platforms such as Investran or similar fund accounting systems.
• Leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and complex deliverables.
