Senior AI-Native Engineer

Overview

Senior AI-Native Engineer for an AI engineering team within R&D, owning AI solutions end-to-end from business need to production monitoring.

What you'll do

• Own the full development loop from problem understanding and solution definition through architecture, build, ship, and production monitoring.
• Use AI as the primary development tool to accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define decision logic, risk thresholds, and success metrics.
• Design evaluation frameworks and avoid shipping solutions that cannot be measured.
• Implement production readiness monitoring, alerting, and observability.
• Decompose business problems into agentic workflows and reusable capabilities.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems in production, including shipping, monitoring, and iteration.
• Fluency with AI-powered development tools used daily.
• Experience designing agentic architectures including orchestration and RAG pipelines.
• Evaluation instincts: define metrics, build test sets, and validate before shipping.
• Comfort across the full stack, including prompt engineering, backend services, data pipelines, and infrastructure.
• Excellent communication with risk flagging and direct feedback.
