Senior Analyst

Overview

Senior Analyst role managing the fiduciary accounting of an assigned portfolio, covering premium and claims collection and settlement, insurance query resolution and credit control for clients, insurers and third-party agents.

What you'll do

• Ensure timely delivery of routine tasks on the assigned accounts or portfolio.
• Handle accounts as per fiduciary procedures with accuracy.
• Maintain minimum productivity standards.
• Liaise with clients and insurers.
• Carry out debt collection and outward credit due to the account holder.
• Drive key financial KPIs such as unmatched cash and income exposure.
• Respond to queries within 24 hours or earlier, referring technical queries to a senior member.
• Perform credit control activities, including legacy, collection of inward premium, reinsurance recoveries and inter-company reconciliation.
• Reconcile cash received, seeking support where technical involvement is needed.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Review the process manual and seek clarity where required.
• Drive unallocated cash numbers down and escalate when a challenge is foreseen.
• Keep up-to-date notes on outstanding revenue balances.

What you'll need

• Graduate degree (Commerce preferable).
• 18-36 months of experience in operations in financial services or offshore processing organizations.
• Knowledge of general insurance principles, terminologies and insurance process flow, with the ability to speak to them convincingly.
• Knowledge of credit control.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.
• Basic maths understanding.
• Analytical ability.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Planning and organizing skills.
• Precision-based approach.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of insurance-related credit control or an insurance background.

Details

• Location: Mumbai - Hiranandani.
• Expected to be in the local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week, with one anchor day per week for office-based teams.
