Senior Analyst - Customer Facing Effectiveness

Overview

Senior Analyst supporting Sanofi's commercial analytics team, delivering field reporting, dashboards and reporting analytics for pharmaceutical commercial functions from the Sanofi Global Hub in Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Maintain effective relationships with end stakeholders within the allocated GBU and tasks, with the objective of developing education and communication content as required.
• Actively lead and develop SGH operations associates and ensure new technologies are leveraged.
• Initiate the contracting process and related documents within defined timelines.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders for project planning, setting timelines and maintaining budget.
• Refresh existing reports and identify improvement opportunities in reporting and BI tools, updating structure and functionality with the latest insights.
• Create dashboards to synthesize and visualize key information and enable business decisions.
• Develop deal tracking analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Digital to enhance data access across various sources and develop tools, technology and processes to improve quality and productivity.
• Support delivery of projects in terms of resourcing, coordination, quality, timeliness, efficiency and high technical standards for deliveries made by the medical/field writing group.
• Contribute to overall quality enhancement by ensuring high scientific standards for output produced by the medical/field writing group.
• Secure adherence to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable standards.
• Refresh reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual cycle, with QC checks for each refresh.
• Work closely with global teams and external vendors to ensure end-to-end effective project delivery of designated publication and medical education deliverables.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical product commercial analytics.
• In-depth knowledge of common databases such as IQVIA, APLD, and engagement and execution data.
• Strong learning agility and ability to manage ambiguous environments and adapt to changing business needs.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong presentation skills.
• Team player who is curious, dynamic, result oriented and able to work collaboratively.
• Ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment.
• Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment and work across time zones.
• Demonstrated leadership and management in driving innovation and automation using advanced statistical and analytical techniques.
• Automating reporting and analytics.
• 3+ years of experience in computer programming (SQL, Python, R).
• 2+ years of working experience in data visualization (Qlik Sense, PowerBI).
• 2+ years of working experience in report design and creation for production and ad-hoc requests.
• Working experience in all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Analytical skills to research and interpret data.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and commitment to quality.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of the importance of detail and organization.
• Experience of working across cultures in a global organization.
• Ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated, proactive and reliable.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Microsoft Office experience, expert in Excel.
• Advanced degree in areas such as Management, Statistics, Decision Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Analytics or a related field (e.g., PhD, MBA, Masters).
• Excellent knowledge of English and strong written and spoken communication.

Nice to have

• Preferred experience in supporting Pharmaceutical Sales Operations with a concentration in Field Sales Reporting.
• Preferred knowledge and experience with Commercial Pharma Datasets.
• Focus on ensuring high quality data output with strong quality assurance.
