Senior Analyst - Python Developer

Overview

Senior Analyst (Python Developer) in Sanofi Business Operations, Hyderabad, designing and building Python web applications and interactive dashboards for R&D and other business functions.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and validate Python web-based applications using the Plotly Dash framework.
• Use pandas for data manipulation, cleaning, transformation, and analysis so that interactive Dash dashboards run on well-structured, reliable data.
• Apply HTML and CSS to structure and style dashboard pages, using Dash's HTML components and external stylesheets for a refined, user-friendly interface.
• Manage source code and track changes using Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and collaborative code reviews.
• Effectively communicate with developers to ensure optimal organization and application of programming best practices.
• Work in collaboration with stakeholders to clarify expectations on business cases and translate requirements into actionable specifications.
• Create meaningful data visualizations that enable informed decision making.
• Perform all QCs prior to release.
• Ensure maintenance and documentation of programs developed.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal peers and end stakeholders, and liaise with colleagues in global and local teams to understand their requirements.
• Co-ordinate and perform QC activities.
• Provide monitoring and verification reports as per agreed timelines and quality.
• Identify abnormalities in monitored data and develop reports as per regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with global teams to ensure end-to-end effective project delivery on time.
• Collaborate with the tactical simulation team and with transversal teams (e.g., BSM, digital team) to establish connections with data, software and webapps developed.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of development in Python.
• Proven experience in web application development using Python and Plotly Dash.
• Skilled in data processing and transformation using pandas.
• Hands-on experience working with GitHub, including managing repositories, version control, pull requests, and collaborating with development teams on code workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in developing web applications with code-based frameworks such as Plotly Dash.
• Strong command of Python libraries, particularly pandas, for data manipulation.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS for structuring and styling dashboard pages, using Dash's HTML components and external stylesheets.
• Proven notions in Agile methodology.
• Attention to detail for troubleshooting issues and ensuring data accuracy in data visualization.
• Analytical, synthesis and reporting skills.

• Experience in a Pharma/Biotech company to understand overall R&D drug development.
• Experience in planning and capacity management for understanding requirements and working efficiently on specifications.
