Senior Analyst, Research

Overview

Senior Analyst in JLL's Real Estate Intelligence Service (REIS) team, tracking Pune's office, retail and residential real estate markets and supporting clients and internal business lines with market reports and insights.

What you'll do

• Track Pune's office, retail and residential markets, along with policy announcements, state-level infrastructure project progress and the city's real estate and economic landscape.
• Collect data from primary sources, including visits to developers' offices and project sites, and interact with relevant internal business lines.
• Prepare Excel data, participate in forecast discussions and write market reports for Pune.
• Work closely with the REIS central team and reporting manager on submissions for the APAC team.
• Provide client research, including real estate market intelligence, location intelligence, construction intelligence and transaction intelligence studies.
• Conduct primary and secondary research to support assignment-based and ad-hoc research queries, including market trends, key themes and reasons for market changes.
• Maintain and update the Pune REIS database.
• Build, maintain, support and validate primary and secondary databases used for Pune REIS client submissions.
• Extract information from public data sources on macroeconomic trends, industry developments, company financial information and competitor landscape.
• Perform data cleaning, preparation, interpretation and analysis using statistical techniques and tools in Excel, the internal CRM database and other data management systems.
• Collate information into cohesive presentations with proper slide layout and design.

What you'll need

• Degree or diploma, or relevant educational background, in Real Estate (Planning or Architecture), Economics or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience.
• Great hand in Excel and report writing.
• Analytical ability to work with primary and secondary data.
• Meticulous, with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
