Senior Application Engineer(DX Units/VRV/VRF/DX units/AHU)

Overview

Senior Application Engineer focused on application engineering for Carrier HVAC systems including DX units, VRV/VRF, FAHU, and AHU.

What you'll do

• Receive inquiries from Sales Engineers or Sales Manager via phone/email/by hand.
• Select and configure DX cooling systems based on cooling loads, application type, and energy efficiency criteria.
• Apply VRF system design knowledge including heat recovery and simultaneous heating/cooling and unit compatibility.
• Generate SAP quotations aligned with project specifications.
• Prepare technical submittals with a compliance statement.
• Provide technical clarifications/assistance to Sales Engineers, consultants, and customers.
• Engage with customers to resolve technical issues and optimize solutions.

What you'll need

• 7 to 10 years of proficient experience selecting and configuring DX cooling systems.
• Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of VRF system design (heat recovery, simultaneous heating/cooling, indoor/outdoor compatibility).
• Skilled in application and selection of FAHU systems, including integration with treated fresh air and humidity control.
• Ability to analyze technical submittals, product data sheets, and performance curves to validate equipment suitability.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and thermodynamics.
