Senior Architect - ServiceNow (ITRF)

Overview

Own the technical solution architecture for ServiceNow IT Request Fulfillment and Service Catalog capabilities. Translate complex requirements into secure, scalable solutions while remaining hands-on with prototypes, code reviews, troubleshooting and critical development.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve the target architecture for ServiceNow Request Fulfillment and Service Catalog.
• Translate business and process requirements into solution designs, specifications and implementation guardrails.
• Define reusable automation patterns for catalog items, approvals, fulfillment, notifications and integrations.
• Lead technical designs for enterprise integrations, including interface contracts, monitoring and error handling.
• Review development quality across configuration, code, data models, security, integrations and performance.
• Resolve complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring within an Agile, DevOps product team.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of professional ServiceNow experience.
• Several years in solution architecture, technical architecture or lead developer responsibility.
• Hands-on Service Catalog and IT Request Fulfillment experience.
• Advanced JavaScript and ServiceNow development skills, including Glide APIs and Script Includes.
• Strong experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub and enterprise automation patterns.
• Integration experience with REST, SOAP, Import Sets, MID Server and authentication mechanisms.
• Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Nice to have

• Experience with Employee Center Pro or Service Portal, CMDB/CSDM, data migration, upgrades and enterprise reporting.
• ServiceNow CTA, progress toward CTA or comparable architecture expertise.
• CIS, particularly CIS-ITSM, ITIL Foundation or project management knowledge.
• Experience leading implementation projects or coordinating distributed delivery teams.
