Senior Associate, Application Developer, Institutional Banking Group Technology

Overview

Design, build and maintain secure, scalable applications for the Institutional Banking Group Technology team, working with product, analysis and architecture colleagues.

What you'll do

• Design, code, test and deploy robust, scalable and secure applications aligned with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, automated testing and code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in application development, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket or GitLab CI) and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
