Overview
Senior Associate Disaster Recovery (DR) Engineer focused on operational resilience and AI-enabled automation.
What you'll do
- Lead modernization and continuous improvement of the Disaster Recovery program while partnering with business stakeholders to strengthen Business Continuity capabilities.
- Drive technology recovery planning including recovery strategy, dependency management, orchestration, telemetry, reusable services, testing, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Support Business Continuity planning by performing initial analysis, triage, coordination, and escalation of complex issues to specialists.
- Contribute to DR planning activities such as recovery documentation, dependency analysis, technology recovery coordination, and alignment with critical services and objectives.
- Lead enterprise dependency mapping across business processes, vendors, suppliers, critical resources, and personnel to improve DR readiness and support recovery prioritization.
- Use agentic AI to modernize DR planning by integrating BIA, business data, application dependencies, and recovery priorities; develop/maintain AI-enabled plan generation.
- Optimize DR exercises/testing and perform recovery validation, risk assessments, and program governance; communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll need
- Requires a Master’s degree OR a Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 9 years of experience in risk management, information systems, computer science, business, or a related field.
- Requires familiarity with automation concepts, AI-enabled workflows, and agentic AI principles for DR and Business Continuity processes.
- Preferred: strong/proven project management skills to meet deliverables and goals.
- Preferred: experience leading DR planning, recovery testing, dependency mapping, recovery governance, and operational resilience initiatives with working knowledge of BC planning and BIA.
- Preferred: experience designing, implementing, integrating, testing, maintaining, and continuously improving agentic AI-enabled workflows across enterprise platforms.
- Preferred: experience designing AI-enabled workflows with governance, fallback, override, recovery, and escalation capabilities.
- Preferred: ability to map dependencies across vendors, suppliers, technology, resources, and critical systems influencing BC/DR readiness.
