Senior Associate – Java Azure Developer, Advisory

Overview

Senior Associate in PwC's business application consulting practice, delivering consulting services for business applications and building Java and Azure based solutions to optimise client operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Practise modern software engineering including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Move code from Dev/Test to Staging and Production, and troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field.
• 6-10 years of industry experience in related technologies.
• Strong computer science foundation, including object-oriented concepts, data structures, algorithms, databases, and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming including Java 11 and above.
• Strong experience in Azure cloud.
• Strong development expertise in Angular 14+.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of APIs.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework.
• Strong proficiency in Microservice Architecture.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, regression testing).
• Expertise in database management with RDBMS and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience in AI-assisted development.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
• Excellent client communication skills.
• Proficiency in working with Linux or macOS environments.
• Mandatory skill sets: C#, .NET, .NET Core, MVC, WCF Services, Azure Cloud, Azure Functions and Logic Apps, RESTful APIs, Azure Integration Services, LINQ, MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, React, GitHub, Azure DevOps, jQuery.
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical, or ETCE; Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services certifications (design and development) required.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Python.
• Preferred skill sets: Java, GCP, AWS, RPA, Asana, data analytics tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI), BizTalk.
• Gen AI, analytics, or AI tools.
• Microsoft Developer Certifications.
