Overview

Senior Associate, Legal to handle advisory and contractual work for Razorpay’s Legal Team, including drafting, negotiation, and legal guidance to protect the company’s interests.

What you'll do

• Handle advisory and contracts across the organization.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to draft and negotiate agreements.
• Provide legal advice to protect the organization’s interests.
• Lead end-to-end contract negotiation, including IT contracts.
• Coordinate independently with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain legal expenses tracking and promptly notify seniors.
• Update and maintain MIS trackers periodically.

What you'll need

• 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm, fintech, bank, or MNC.
• Corporate, product advisory, and end-to-end contract negotiation experience (including IT contracts).
• Strong English communication and drafting skills.
• Understanding and experience in laws related to RBI and fintech laws (including laws applicable to a TPAP).
• Knowledge of employment laws, fintech-associated laws, digital lending, and intellectual property.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Fluency in MS Office and related tools.
