Senior Associate – ML Engineer, Advisory

Overview

Design, develop, deploy, and operate machine learning models and production-grade ML pipelines for complex business problems as an ML Engineer in PwC Advisory.

What you'll do

• Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Design and implement scalable, production-grade ML pipelines from data ingestion, feature engineering, and model training through deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Deploy ML models at scale using AWS services, ensuring low-latency, high-availability, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Build ETL pipelines to prepare data for model training and inference.
• Stay current with the latest ML/AI research, evaluate new techniques, and drive adoption of cutting-edge methodologies.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models, including monitoring, alerting, debugging, and continuous improvement.
• Write clear technical documentation and communicate results and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 5 to 8 years of experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• BE, B.Tech, or MCA qualification.
• Bachelor of Technology degree.
• React.js, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Java and Spring Boot.
• REST API Development.
• MongoDB.
• AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• System Design and Architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, recommendation systems, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, including CI/CD for ML, model versioning, feature stores, and automated retraining pipelines.
• Experience with SQL and large-scale data platforms such as Spark, Hadoop, Redshift, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to senior leadership.
• Full Stack Development.
