Senior Business Analyst – Commercial P&C / MGA

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the implementation of Insurity Sure Commercial for a Commercial P&C MGA environment. This role needs someone who understands the full MGA lifecycle and can turn complex insurance requirements into clear configuration, workflows, and documentation that delivery teams can execute on.

What you'll do

• Gather and document business requirements from MGA stakeholders, underwriters, and product teams.
• Translate requirements into Sure Commercial configuration, user stories, functional specifications, and workflow definitions.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and separate configuration needs from integration requirements.
• Define broker submission, appetite/eligibility, quote, bind, policy, endorsement, renewal, and cancellation processes.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect analysis, and business sign-off across insurance product and integration workstreams.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of business analysis experience with strong exposure to Commercial P&C insurance.
• Deep understanding of the MGA operating model and underwriting lifecycle.
• Experience working with MGAs, specialty insurers, program administrators, or delegated underwriting organizations.
• Strong experience creating acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, and functional specifications.
• Hands-on exposure to at least one commercial insurance platform; Insurity Sure Commercial is highly preferred.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and work effectively with product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with rating engines, carrier integrations, broker systems, or accounting downstream integrations.
• Familiarity with commercial insurance policy administration and workflow design.
