Senior Business Intelligence Developer | Tableau/PowerBI & SQL

Overview

Senior Business Intelligence Developer for Micron’s Identity and Access Governance (IAG) organization, focusing on building dashboards, analytics, and data solutions using Tableau/Power BI and SQL.

What you'll do

• Build dashboards and reporting solutions for Identity and Access governance and operations.
• Own reporting solutions from discovery through testing, delivery, and support.
• Develop automated data collection, transformation, refresh, and distribution processes using ETL, scripting, and scheduling tools.
• Translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions and recommend improvements based on data issues.
• Design and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations with an emphasis on usability and highlighting critical information.
• Write and optimize sophisticated SQL queries, data models, extracts, and transformations for performance and scalability.
• Perform testing and validation for accuracy, consistency, performance, and security; identify data anomalies and broken business rules.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in a related discipline.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server including database design, indexes, stored procedures, and query performance optimization.
• Ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize very complex SQL queries and data transformations.
• Strong hands-on Tableau and/or Power BI development and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with ETL and data transformation processes.
• Experience working with very large datasets and optimizing performance in both SQL and Tableau.
• Proficiency using AI-assisted tools for research, development, troubleshooting, or documentation while validating results.
