Senior Business Intelligence Developer | Tableau/PowerBI & SQL

Overview

Senior Business Intelligence Developer supporting Micron’s Identity and Access Governance (IAG) organization with Tableau/Power BI dashboards and SQL-based analytics.

What you'll do

• Build dashboards and reporting solutions for IAG analysis, decision-making, and end-user resources.
• Develop and support automated data collection, transformation, refresh, and distribution using ETL, scripting, and scheduling tools.
• Translate business requirements and leadership objectives into reporting and analytics solutions, including recommendations and issue identification.
• Design and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations with a focus on usability and highlighting critical information.
• Perform thorough testing and validation for accuracy, consistency, performance, and security, including anomaly detection.
• Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries, data models, extracts, and transformations for performance and scalability.
• Complete self-review of SQL, Tableau/Power BI outputs, extracts, calculations, and dashboards; troubleshoot issues as needed.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in a related discipline.
• Microsoft SQL Server skills including database design, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and query performance optimization.
• Ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize very complex queries and data transformations.
• Hands-on Tableau and/or Power BI development and performance optimization skills.
• Experience using SSMS and optimizing performance for very large datasets in both SQL and Tableau.
• Experience with ETL and data transformation processes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or related field.
