Senior Consultant - Internal Audit & SOX

Overview

Senior Consultant in Enterprise Risk Advisory, working on SOX and internal audit engagements, from conceptualization and design through implementation of the entire SOX program.

What you'll do

• Work on projects covering the full SOX lifecycle: conceptualization, design, implementation, documentation and control testing.
• Evaluate internal controls over reliability of financial reporting, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and effectiveness and efficiency of operations including cost management.
• Play a key role in assignments, including developing project plans, allocating resources and leading staff members.
• Handle SOX and audit engagements.
• Design and assess processes and controls and drive improvements.
• Address queries on SOX and audit issues.
• Develop process documentation, RCMs, report writing, root cause analysis and remediation.
• Provide mentorship to other team members.

What you'll need

• Understanding of COSO 2013.
• Experience in process documentation, developing RCMs, report writing, root cause analysis and remediation.
• Qualifications: Bachelors in Economics, Finance or Statistics, or Masters in Business Administration or Risk Management.
• Required skills: Data Literacy, Executive Presence, Information Security, Risk Management, Storytelling.
• Language: English, Proficient (C2).

Nice to have

• Exposure to Internal Audit Process Reviews, SOPs and other risk management engagements.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) - ACFE.
• CISA - ISACA.
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management - Skillsoft.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate - Microsoft.
