Senior Consultant – SAP ABAP HANA

Overview

Senior Consultant role focused on deep SAP ABAP on SAP HANA and MDG expertise, supporting complex global SAP landscapes. You will lead development, maintenance, reliability, and optimization activities to keep critical processes running and improve performance.

What you'll do

• Lead incident and problem management for complex SAP landscapes to restore service and prevent recurrence.
• Translate functional/technical designs into build plans and author technical design/testing documents.
• Design and extend MDG data models, workflows, and BRF+ logic while enforcing data standards.
• Build high-performance RICEFW objects and expose services via OData/REST for UIs and integrations.
• Engineer and maintain interfaces across S/4HANA, ECC, and third-party systems.
• Define and complete unit, integration, and regression testing, automating where possible.
• Profile, tune, and refactor code/data models; set up measurements and dashboards for early warning.

What you'll need

• SAP MDG experience including data modeling for MM, BP, and FI.
• Rule-based workflow and BRF+ knowledge for derivations/validations and approval workflows.
• Experience with data replication using SOA/ALE and MDG domains (BP customer/vendor, Material, Finance).
• Integration experience with S/4HANA/ECC and tools such as DRF, IDoc, PI/PO, CPI, SLT, and APIs.
• ABAP development skills including OO ABAP, CDS, and AMDP.
• Exposure to running SAP using Solution Manager methodologies.
• Completed at least 2 SAP implementations with support experience.
